KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dejon Barney of IU South Bend (Ind.) has been named the NAIA Men's Basketball National Player of the Week. Barney was selected based on his performance(s) from January 22-28 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/group nominees.

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Men's Basketball Player of the Week 

Dejon Barney - IU South Bend (Ind.) - SR - Forward

• Averaged 28 points and 15.5 rebounds a game over the course of the Titans' two contests
• Pulled-down an incredible 20 rebounds against Trinity Christian (Ill.) on Saturday
• Set an IUSB record for Offensive boards against Trinity Christian with 14
• Shot 63.9% from the floor on the week and led the offense to two wins
