Week 10 (February 21, 2023)

Player of the Week: Tyler Schmidt, Olivet Nazarene (Ill.)

    Schmidt averaged 25.0 ppg in leading the Tigers to their fifth-consecutive CCAC regular-season title this week. He went 11-of-16 from the floor in both games, filling in 22 points in 28 minutes in a 111-67 rout of Governors State. Schmidt then dropped in a game-high 28 points to take down Saint Xavier 85-79 and win the conference crown. He also averaged 6.0 rebounds/game and dished out 6.5 assists/game, including an eight-assist performance against GSU.

Week 9 (February 14, 2023)

Player of the Week: Dillon Carlson, Northwestern (Iowa)

     Carlson hit a career high in scoring twice this week, first with 29 points in a win at Dakota Wesleyan before scoring 35 on Saturday against Mount Marty. He hit a career-high eight threes on Saturday and scored 20 first-half points. He also averaged 4.5 rebounds on the week. Wednesday?s win at Dakota Wesleyan was Northwestern?s first in Mitchell since 2013.

Player of the Week: Mason Walters, Jamestown (N.D.)

   Averaged a double-double of 26 points and 10.3 rebounds as Jamestown went 3-0 last week...shot 66 percent from the field, 46.7 percent from three, and 100 percent from the line.

Week 7 (January 31, 2023)

Player of the Week: Riley Minix, Southeastern (Fla.)

   Riley Minix continued to put up monster numbers last week, pushing his team to two more SUN wins after tallying 65 points and 26 rebounds in just two contests. The senior averaged 32.5 points per game and 13 rebounds per game and shot 71% from the field. From distance, Minix went 6-10 while also recording six assists on the week. Minix continues to lead the SUN in scoring, rebounding, field-goal percentage, and blocked shots.

Player of the Week: Andrew Cook, Carroll (Mont.)

   Cook had an outstanding week, leading the Saints to victories over Montana Western and No. 12 Montana Tech. The Sophomore averaged 27.5 points per game, including a career-high 31 points in the win over UMW. Cook averaged 65.5 percent from the field, and 89.5 percent from the free throw line in the two wins. He averaged 4 assists per game and pulled down six rebounds.

Player of the Week: Akili Vining, Texas Wesleyan

   Scored a career high 45 points on Thursday against Wayland Baptist who was receiving votes at the time. The rams won 95-90. Vining's 45 points was the difference in the game.

Player of the Week: K'Shun Stokes, Webber International (Fla.)

  In three games, K'Shun Stokes had a huge week for the Warriors. The junior led his team to three wins and recorded 32 points against Coastal Georgia on his way to averaging over 27 points per game.

Player of the Week: Spencer Hoffman, Bushnell (Ore.)

  Hoffman had another huge weekend as the Beacons won twice to move into a four-way tie for sixth in the CCC after an 0-3 start. He has scored 20 points in eight straight games. In CCC games, he is ranked 2nd for FG%, and 3rd for scoring and rebounding.

Week 2 (December 13, 2022)

Player of the Week: Jason Hubbard, Taylor (Ind.)

  Hubbard led the Trojans to two victories, including an impressive display to topple No. 2 Grace 68-62 on Saturday afternoon. The senior averaged a double-double while filling the stat sheet in each contest. Hubbard scored his 2,000th point on a late basket to give Taylor a four-point lead against Grace with just over a minute left. The Miamisburg native shot 56.7 percent from the field and 82.4 percent from the line while connect on three triples to showcase his scoring from all three levels.
