Keiser Extends Their Lead atop the Team Standings Midway Through the NAIA Women's Swimming and Diving Championship

Columbus, Ga. – The 2024 NAIA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships began Wednesday night at the Columbus Aquatic Center with the finals of the 200 medley relay and the 800 free relay.
- Keiser (Fla.) captured one national title and a trio of runner-up finishes to extend their lead atop the team standings with 213.5 points. Rachel Bradley opened finals clocking a 4:56.86 to win the 500 free. The Seahawks also posted runner-up finishes in the 200 IM, 50 free, and the 200 free relay.
- St. Thomas (Fla.) touched the wall in 1:33.91 to win the 200 free relay. That propelled the Bobcats into second place with 181 points.
- Milligan (Tenn.) is in third place with 141 points. Riley Renaud recorded a runner-up finish in the 500 free (5:01.55).
- Halle Briner clocked a 2:05.08 to edge out the field and win the 200 IM national title. That performance helped lead Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) to fourth place with 126 points.
- Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) rounds out the top five in the team standings with 124 points. Maaike Broersma won the 50 free, touching the wall in a time of 23.25.
- Macy Schmidtgall and Megan Carroll of Indiana Wesleyan posted a one-two finish in the women’s three-meter dive event.
The NAIA Championship will continue Friday, March 8, with the third day of competition. Prelims are slated to begin at 9 a.m. EST and finals will start at 5 p.m. EST.
