KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Mendy De Rooi of Cumberlands (Ky.) was named the NAIA women's swimmer/diver of the month, announced the national office on Thursday.

• De Rooi has opened the season with 14 wins
• She has also hit the A cut in every race that she has swam this season.
• The junior recorded a new school record in the 200 freestyle while leading off the 800 free relay.
