KANSAS CITY, Mo. – [Opening Round Schedule | Results] Twenty-four teams have won their respective NAIA Women’s Volleyball Championship Opening Round matches on Saturday. The 24 teams will meet up at the final site in Sioux City, Iowa, starting December 4.

Opening Round Notes 

• Twenty-four teams advanced to the final site.
• Pool play assignments will be announced on Sunday, November 24, at 1 p.m. on naia.org.
• Twenty-two of the 24 teams that won their opening round were hosts. The visiting teams that won their opening round matches were William Carey (Miss.) and Missouri Baptist.
• The Cascade Collegiate Conference leads the field with four teams that advanced to the final site. Three conferences followed with three teams that advanced to the final site: Crossroads League, Frontier Conference and The Great Plains Athletic Conference.
• Fourteen of 21 conferences will be represented at the final site.
• Three previous title winners were knocked out of the field: Columbia (Mo.), Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) and Jamestown (N.D.).
• Title winners that remain in the field: Marian (Ind.), Indiana Wesleyan and Missouri Baptist.
• There are no first-time qualifiers in the 2024 field.
• Six of the 22 teams qualified with an at-large.
