2024 NAIA Women's Volleyball Players of the Week - No. 8 (October 15)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Grace Colburn of The Master’s (Calif.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Miriam Miller of Hastings (Neb.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Defender of the Week and Abbigail Porter of Indiana Wesleyan has been named the NAIA Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week. The trio was selected based on their performances from October 7 - 13 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

NAIA Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week
Grace Colburn, The Master’s (Calif.) – Junior – Outside Hitter
- Totaled 40 kills in a pair of wins for an average of 6.67 kills per set
- Recorded an attack percentage of .395 with 10 errors on 76 total attacks
- Added 17 digs on the week while also having three blocks
- Aided The Master’s to a 2-0 week with wins over Embry-Riddle and Life Pacific
NAIA Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week
Miriam Miller, Hastings (Neb.) – Senior – Defensive Specialist
- Totaled 70 digs in two matches for an average of 9.33 digs per set
- Moved into fifth place on the all-time digs list at Hastings
- Also added eight assists and a pair of service aces
- Led Hastings to wins over Dakota Wesleyan (SD) and Waldorf
NAIA Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week
Abbigail Porter, Indiana Wesleyan – Junior – Setter
- Recorded 83 assists for an average of 13.38 assists per set in two matches
- Had a double-double in a 3-0 win over Spring Arbor (MI) with 42 assists and 11 digs
- Added 15 digs on the week with five kills
- Aided Indiana Wesleyan to wins over No. 14 Grace and Spring Arbor
- Guided her team to an undefeated week where the team did not drop a set
