KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially announced the 2023 NAIA Women’s Tennis All-America teams. Honorees were selected by the NAIA All-America Selection Committee. Sixteen student-athletes comprise both the first and second teams.

National champion Georgia Gwinnett, and national championship runner-up Keiser (Fla.) led all schools with four, first-team selections. Justine Lespes, Teodora Jovic, Tereza Koplova and Angel Carney represented the Grizzlies on the first team while Violet Apisah, Ksenija Vujacic, Yvette Schmucker and Vanja Vidanovic represented the Seahawks. Lespes was named the Marvin P. Richmond Outstanding Player at the national championship over the weekend. Keiser’s Isabella Perez Flores and Georgia Gwinnett’s Stephanie Fernandez earned second team honors also..

Xavier (La.) was the only other school that had two student-athletes on the first team (Kareemah Muhammad and Mbali Langa). All totaled, Georgia Gwinnett and Keiser also led all schools with five selections to the two teams combined. Ave Maria (Fla.), Cumberlands (Ky.), Indiana Wesleyan, LSU Alexandria (La.), SCAD Savannah (Ga.) and Xavier (La.) all had two selections across both teams.
