Swimmers/Divers are evaluated on their performance during the month prior to the announcement. Each swimmer/diver is selected out of a pool of conference and group award winners.

Month 4 ( February 11, 2022)

Swimmer of the Month: Allison Pearson, Olivet Nazarene (Ill.)

  Allison Pearson had a record-setting performance in the KCAC Championships for the Tigers as they won their third straight conference championship. Pearson earned eight first-place finishes and set meet records in the 200-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard IM, 400-yard medley relay, 200-yard medley relay, 800-yard freestyle relay, and the 400-yard freestyle relay. She achieved A or B standards in each race she swam. Below is how she stacks up from the rest of the NAIA according to Swimcloud. 200-yard IM: Swam the fastest time in the NAIA 200-yard medley relay: Swam third-best time in the NAIA 400-yard IM: Swam third-best time in the NAIA 100-yard breaststroke: swam the second-fastest time in the NAIA 400-yard freestyle relay: swam the second-fastest time in the NAIA

Month 3 (January 18, 2022)

Swimmer of the Month: Eva Garraux, Arizona Christian

Garraux, a freshman from Aywaille, Belgium participated in four events for the Firestorm against GCU, OUAZ and NAU. In the 100 Fly, she set a new school record. She also set a new career-best in the 100 back and led off in the 400 free relay. For her great performances, she was also named the Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season.

 


Month 2 (December 10, 2021)

Swimmer of the Month: Maaike Broersma, Lindsey Wilson (Ky.)

Nov. 11 - Igloo Invitational - 400 free Relay - 3:35.22 - 1st - 2nd - 5 - 7 - A Cut Broersma competed at two meets during the month where she notched 13 national standard times across 14 races. She produced seven "B" cuts and added six "A" standards. She set two new LWC programs records along the way in 50 free and 100 backstroke. In total, the sophomore won all 14 of her races.

Month 1 (November 12, 2021)

Swimmer of the Month: Maaike Broersma, Linsdsey Wilson (Ky.)

  Broersma has picked up three straight MSC Women's Swimmer of the week awards to start the season after picking up nine provisional cuts and one "A" cut in four competitions this fall.
