Women's Soccer Weekly Notebook, September 10-16
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Nearly 570 games into the NAIA Women’s Soccer season, perfection is becoming rare. Only 13 teams remain unbeaten and untied, while 22 have managed to dodge defeat altogether.
Last week delivered marquee matchups. No. 1 Keiser (Fla.) and No. 2 William Carey (Miss.) lit up the boxscore in a neutral-site clash, while the Rockies played host to a showdown between the two squads tied at No. 3 in the national poll.
Now the stage shifts to this weekend’s NAIA-UEN Featured Game, where No. 1 Keiser takes on No. 5 Cumberlands (Ky.) in their first meeting since the 2021 Final Site in Foley, Ala. With national player of the week honors freshly announced, leaderboards shuffling, and Carroll (Mont.) standing out as the northernmost team in the country to remain perfect.
Check out more on the highlighted matchups, links to follow along, player of the week honors, and individual statistical leaders, all in this week's women's soccer notebook!
