2024 NAIA Women's Soccer Players of the Week - No. 8 (October 15)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Jayden Boelter and Georgia Martell are the NAIA Women’s Soccer Players of the Week, NAIA officials announced today. Boelter is the national offensive player of the week, while Martell earns the defensive award. The duo was selected based on their performances from October 7-13 from a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X.

NAIA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Jayden Boelter, Cumberlands (Ky.) - SR - Forward
- Boelter scored a pair of goals and assisted on a third to help the top-ranked Patriots to a pair of nationally-ranked wins last week.
- She tallied a goal and an assist in Cumberlands’ 5-0 win over No.18-ranked Georgia Gwinnett on Monday, October 7.
- Boelter ended the week finding the back of the net in the lone goal of the game in a 1-0 win over No. 12-ranked Campbellsville (Ky.).
- Boelter is third in the NAIA this season with 20 goals and sixth in points (42). She has scored at least one goal in every game this season for the undefeated Patriots.
NAIA Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Georgia Martell, Cumberlands (Ky.) - SR - Goalkeeper
- Martell was part of two Cumberlands’ shutouts last week against Georgia Gwinnett and Campbellsville (Ky.).
- She collected two saves in her 87 minutes of action in beating 15th-ranked Georgia Gwinnett 5-0.
- Martell followed up with five saves in a 1-0 shutout win over the No. 12-ranked Lady Tigers.
- Martell is seventh in the NAIA with a 0.42 goals-against average.
- The wins extend Cumberlands winning streak to 11 games -- matching a program record.
