2024 NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll - Final (November 6)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Patriots of Cumberlands (Ky.) finished the 2024 regular season in the top spot of the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches Poll. The Patriots are just the second team since 1999 to hold the top spot in the nation for the entire season, joining the only other team to do so in Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) back in 2015. The top five remained nearly the same with Tennessee Southern jumping to four and Aquinas (Mich.) sliding to fifth. No one team rose more than three spots in the final poll of the season; while UC Merced (Calif.) joined the top 25 after receiving votes.
Poll Methodology:
- The poll is for publicity purposes only and has no weight or bearing in the selection process for national championship field consideration.
- A panel of head coaches representing each conference and Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) voted on the poll.
- The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter votes for the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place, 28 points for third-place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed.
- Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered "receiving votes".
