PENSACOLA, Fla. - [Championship Bracket | Final Site Schedule | Watch Live | Live Stats] The Columbia (Mo.) Cougars faced off against the Pioneers of MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) in a closely contested game that ended with a score of 2-1 with the Cougars on top.

The first goal of the game came from Riley Porter of Columbia in the 30th minute, giving her team a 1-0 lead. MidAmerica Nazarene fought back in the second half with a penalty kick goal from Thayline Teixeira in the 60th minute to tie the game 1-1. However, the Cougars managed to pull ahead once again with a goal from Delfina Zolesio in the 72nd minute, assisted by Delaynie Brown, securing their victory with a final score of 2-1.

Columbia (Mo.) dominated in the shots category with 11 shots compared to MNU's six. The Cougars goalkeeper, Natalie Allison, made a crucial save to secure the win, while MidAmerica Nazarene's goalkeeper, Fiona Popetschnig, made four saves throughout the game, including a pair of point-blank saves keeping her team in the match.

Overall, it was a hard-fought battle between the two teams, but Columbia (Mo.) ultimately emerged victorious. This win improves their record to an impressive 19-1-1 for the season.
