PENSACOLA, Fla. - [Championship Bracket | Final Site Schedule | Watch Live | Live Stats] The Bobcats of UC-Merced Women's Soccer team dominated Campbellsville (KY) with a 3-0 victory in the Round of 16 of the 2024 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship. The Bobcats took control early in the game with goals from Yareli Hernandez in the 7th minute and Liliana Johnson in the 31st minute to give them a 2-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Hernandez scored her second goal of the game in the 61st minute to solidify the victory for UC Merced. The Bobcats' defense held strong throughout the match, with goalkeeper Alicia Lepe making six saves to secure the shutout.

Campbellsville (Ky.) struggled to generate scoring opportunities, only managing six shots on goal compared to UC Merced's 17. Milly Shakespeare, the goalkeeper for Campbellsville (Ky.), made three saves.

The Bobcats improved their record to 15-3-2 with a spot in Thursday's Quarterfinals, while Campbellsville (Ky.) closes their season at 19-3-1.
