2023 NAIA Women's Soccer Players of the Week - No. 9 (October 24)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Gabrielle Cimino of St. Thomas (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, Nia Baker of Friends (Kan.) has been named the NAIA Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from October 16-22 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

NAIA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Gabrielle Cimino, St. Thomas (Fla.) - GR - F
- The team leader in goals (7) and points (16) set the tone early with the opening goal against No. 5 SCAD Savannah (Ga.) helping her team to a 2-1 upset victory.
- Posted two more goals in the 3-0 shutout win against Warner (Fla.) just three days later.
- Sits fourth in The Sun Conference in goals.
NAIA Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Nia Baker, Friends (Kan.) - JR - GK
- Recorded another strong week between the sticks for the Falcons, notching 16 saves over 180 minutes played.
- Made a game winning save with 7:42 remaining to keep Kansas Wesleyan off the board, preserving the 1-0 lead.
- Leads the KCAC in goals against average (0.17), save percentage (.970), and total save with 32 over the 540 minutes played this season.
