KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Maria Azarias of William Carey (Miss.) has been named the NAIA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, Hannah Tillison of Midland (Neb.) has been named the NAIA Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from September 4-10 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

NAIA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Maria Azarias, William Carey (Miss.) - SR - Midfielder

• Scored a pair of PK goals in the 4-3 win over No. 5 Keiser (Fla.).
• Recorded a .667 shot-on-goal percentage over two games last week.

NAIA Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

Hannah Tillison, Midland (Neb.) - SR - Goalkeeper

• Clean slate in the upset win over No. 18 MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) with eight saves.
• 14 total saves last week, adding six more in the 1-1 draw against Vanguard (Calif.) on the road.
