2023 NAIA Women's Soccer Players of the Week - No. 1 (August 29)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jayden Boelter of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, Avery Sluss of Indiana Wesleyan has been named the NAIA National Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from August 28 - September 3 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

Jayden Boelter, Cumberlands (Ky.) - JR - Forward
- Posted a pair of game-winning goals against two Top-25 teams.
- Leads NAIA in game-winning goals.
- Six of her nine total shots were on goal
NAIA Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Avery Sluss, Indiana Wesleyan - FR - Goalkeeper
- Zero goals allowed in 180 minutes against a pair of Top-10 foes.
- Tallies 14 saves to average seven saves per game.
