2023 NAIA Women's Soccer All-Americans and Player of the Year Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 2023 NAIA Women's Soccer All-America Team was announced on Monday as Mariangela Jimenez from William Carey (Miss.) was named the 2023 NAIA Player of the Year. The NAIA All-America Committee, which consists of the NAIA-Women's Soccer Coaches Association officers and seven additional women's soccer coaches.

Mariangela took the field in 25 games for the Crusaders this year, with 24 starts. Jimenez finished the season tied for second in assists with 17 while scoring 21 goals to collect 59 points during the 2023 season. She started every game consecutively after August 26 and posted eight multigoal games during the season.

Overall, William Carey (Miss.) led all teams with six honorees, Spring Arbor (Mich.) and Tennessee Southern followed with four honorees each. William Carey led all institutions with four, first team selections.

The 2023 Select Sport America-NAIA Women's Soccer National Coach of the Year will be announced in January.
