2022-23 NAIA Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 Poll – Poll Seven (October 19, 2022)

Women's Soccer - Keiser University

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Keiser (Fla.) stayed on top of the seventh edition of the NAIA Women’s Soccer Top 25. The Seahawks boast a 12-0-1 record as of the beginning of the week and are the No. 1 team in the nation for the seventh consecutive poll of 2022. Marian (Ind.) also stayed put at No. 2 while Cumberlands (Ky.) and Spring Arbor (Mich.) exchanged positions at Nos. 3 and 4. William Carey (Miss.) remained at No. 5 while the undefeated Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles sit just behind at No. 6. MidAmerica Nazarene entered the Top 25 for the first time this season.

Poll Methodology

  • The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) and Unaffiliated Groups.
  • The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.
  • The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low ratings) is removed and the team’s ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appears on.
  • Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered “receiving votes.”
