Defensive Player of the Week: Keila Cardeiro, Faulkner (Ala.)

  Cardeiro turned in one of the most impactful keeper performances in program history in a first round win over Mobile. Her seven saves in a 1-0 shutout included a highlight reel stop in the closing seconds to preserve the win and keep Faulkner's season alive.

   Eliska scored 5 total goals, including a hat trick against Brenau. She scored twice and had an assists against St. Andrews.

Defensive Player of the Week: Emily Lamoreaux, Thomas (Ga.)

   

Emily Lamoreaux continues to be a strong key player for the Night Hawks. The Lake City, Fla had a spectacular performance against RV St.Thomas University on Saturday morning. Despite the tie, the Senior Keeper was able to notch a new season and career high of 15 saves with seven of those coming in the first half.

Week Nine (October 25, 2022)

Offensive Player of the Week: Ines Sommer, SCAD Savannah (Ga.)

   Sommer had a huge week for the Bees, scoring four goals back-to-back against Webber International and No. RV St. Thomas for a total of nine goals this week. The sophomore added one assist against Webber International to her already impressive week. Against St. Thomas, Sommer took four shots, and each was a goal to give the Bees a 4-0 lead. Sommer and the SCAD offense have scored 35 goals in the last five games, with the sophomore totaling 12 of them.

Defensive Player of the Week: Sofie Jackson-Pedersen

   

Jackson-Pedersen was kept busy this past week as she finished with 18 saves in helping Hastings go 2-0. Her 14 save performace against College of Saint Mary was easily a career high.

Offensive Player of the Week: Kayla Deaver, Kansas Wesleyan

   

Kayla Deaver had an incredible week for the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes. She scored a total of nine goals on the week, with six against Bethany, and added three more against Bethel, in a pair of wins for the Coyotes. Deaver's six goal output on Wednesday against Bethany set a new KWU record for goals in a single match. She then added three more for her third hat trick of the season on Saturday against Bethel. She scored almost half of her season goals (9 of 19) this week.

Made 14 saves in a pair of CAC shutout wins over Iowa Wesleyan (2-0) and Georgia Gwinnett (1-0) ... Recorded her sixth and seventh shutouts of the season ... Her 12 saves against GGC are the most in program history in a win and third-most all-time.

Maria had seven goals and five assists on the week, leading the Eagles to a 2-0 week and remain unbeaten. Maria had a hat trick in both matches, bring her current hat trick streak to five-straight.

Defensive Player of the Week: Makida Herbert, Corban (Ore.)

  Herbert led the Warriors to back-to-back shutout draws against the No. 21 Mounties and (RV) Yotes, which are her fourth and fifth shutouts this season. Her five shutouts now tie her for fifth in the CCC, and third in save percentage (.870) by adding 12 saves with zero goals allowed this weekend.

Defensive Player of the Week: Sydney Jordan, Montreat (N.C.)

  Jordan anchored the back line to a pair of AAC shutout victories this week, playing the majority of her time on the field as a centerback. The Johnson City, Tenn. native also jumped into the attack against St. Andrews on multiple occasions, resulting in her first collegiate hat-trick and the game-winning goal in a 4-0 road triumph.

Offensive Player of the Week: Claire Hedlund, Bethel (Kan.)

   Claire Hedlund had a monstrous week for the Threshers in their three contests. She found the back of the net 12 times, while assisting two more goals. Hedlund set school records for goals and points in a game against Ecclesia as she scored a whopping 8 goals and turned in 2 assists. She turned in 26 points on the week while taking 25 shots. The junior forward had a shot percentage of .480 and a shot on goal percentage of .920 as the Threshers went 2-0-1.

Defensive Player of the Week: Zoe Goodale, SCAD Savannah (Ga.)

   

Goodale played every minute of both games this week as the Bees increased their home win streak to 3-0. The sophomore totaled nine saves against No. 1 UT Southern which allowed SCAD to earn the 3-2 upset win (the biggest upset in program history). Goodale totaled two saves against Life as the Bees won 4-2.

Week Two (September 6, 2022)

Offensive Player of the Week: Karina Medina, St. Thomas (Fla.)

   

Karina Medina has been off to the hottest start in her career scoring goals in three straight matches and in four of five games this year. This week the captain had back-to-back multi-goal games and tallied an assist for nine points on the week. Medina leads the conference with six goals scored on the early season and is second in points with 13. STU went 2-0 on the week to improve to 4-1 on the year.

Defensive Player of the Week: Grace McClellan, Keiser (Fla.)

   

Grace McClellan made a season-high six saves against the No. 1 ranked Tennessee Southern Firebirds and earned her fourth straight shutout of the season. It is the first time in program history that the Seahawks have started 4-0 without allowing a goal. McClellan is one of three goalkeepers to have three solo and one combined shutout so far this season and the only one to do it in just four games.

  Fonseca had a tremendous game against Trinity Baptist scoring five goals on five shots and adding an assist for a career-high 11 points.

 Defensive Player of the Week: Georia Martell, Cumberlands (Ky.)

 

  Facing #7 Marian and #3 Central Methodist, Martell played in two games this week against top ranked opponents. The sophomore made 12 saves on the week against the top-ten opposition. Against #3 Central Methodist, Martell tied her career-high with 8 saves, while limiting CMU (who averaged 3.79 gpg in 2021) to just one goal. She also added four saves playing the second half against #7 Marian helping the Patriots to their first shutout of the season. The win over #3 Central Methodist is the Patriots first road win over a top-five program since at least 2001.
