2021 NAIA Women’s Soccer All-Americans Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 2021 NAIA Women’s Soccer All-America Team was announced on Wednesday as Ana Paula Santos from William Carey (Miss.) was named the 2021 NAIA Player of the Year. This is the second-consecutive year that Santos has earned this prestigious honor. The NAIA All-America Committee, which consists of the NAIA-Women’s Soccer Coaches Association officers and seven additional women’s soccer coaches, select the three 11-member teams and the honorable mention teams.

Santos has 86 career goals and 217 points in her magnificent career at William Carey. The forward helped guide her team to a national title in 2018 and finished with her largest point total in her career (63) after setting a new high a year ago with 54. The senior finished play at the 2021 NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship Final Site with five points.

Overall, Central Methodist (Mo.) and Tennessee Southern and William Carey led all teams at the top with five honorees on the top three teams. Tennessee Southern led all institutions with three, first team selections.

The 2021 Select Sport America-NAIA Women’s Soccer National Coach of the Year will be announced in January.
