2025 NAIA Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week - No. 9 (April 15)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lydia Cornett of Missouri Baptist has been named the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, while Milena Isturiz of Keiser (Fla.) was selected as the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week. Players of the week are selected based on performances from April 7-14 and are chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X/Twitter throughout the regular season.

NAIA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Lydia Cornett, Missouri Baptist - SR - Attacker
- In one game last week, the Defiance, Mo., native raised the bar with a new single-game record in points.
- Recorded 17 points on 11 goals and six assists, while also securing 13 draw controls.
- Cornett caused a pair of turnovers while putting 11-of-14 shots on frame.
NAIA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Milena Isturiz, Keiser (Fla.) - SR - Midfielder
- Isturiz continued to be the heart of the Seahawks in the last two games of the regular season, securing her 100th caused turnover and grabbing eight ground balls, which is tied for second in program history.
- The team leader in points, goals, groundballs, caused turnovers, and draw controls for KU helped the Seahawks finish the regular season with a perfect record and capture the Sun Conference Regular Season Title.
