2024 NAIA Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week - No. 9 (April 16)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Chanterra Allen of Benedictine (Kan.) has been named the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, and Kaylen Moore of Benedictine (Kan.) has been named the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from April 8-14 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

NAIA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Chanterra Allen, Benedictine (Kan.) - SO - Attacker

  • Allen had a big week for the Raven's posting a shot-on-goal percentage of 90.9 (20-of-22).
  • The Heart of America Conference leader in goals (76) and points (99) tallied 12 total goals last week.
  • Was a big part in helping her team clinch the regular season conference title.

NAIA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

Kaylen Moore, Benedictine (Kan.) - SO - Midfielder

  • Moore was a catalyst in the Raven's big upset win last week over No. 5 Missouri Baptist, before helping her team to a second win clinching the regular season title.
  • The Heart of America Conference leader in draw controls (91), picked up 26 draw controls, and 16 points (12g, 4a) with a 79.2 shot on goal percentage.
  • She secured seven ground balls and caused three turnovers.
