2024-25 NAIA Women's Basketball Players of the Week - No. 8 (February 4)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Susanna Moran of the College of the Ozarks (Mo.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, while Abbey McNally of Marian (Ind.) has been named the NAIA Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from January 27 - February 2 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

 

Players of the Week are announced on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X throughout the regular season.

NAIA Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week 

Susanna Moran, College of the Ozarks (Mo.) – JR – Forward

  • Averaged 23.5 points and shot 54.5 percent from the field for the week
  • Had a pair of double-doubles in two conference wins
  • Scored 30 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in a victory over No. 22 Mid-America Christian (Okla.)
  • Aided College of the Ozarks in wins over Southwestern Christian (Texas) and No. 22 Mid-America Christian

 

NAIA Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week

Abbey McNally, Marian (Ind.) – JR – Forward/Center

  • Had 21 defensive rebounds in a pair of wins
  • Added 10 blocks on the two victories
  • Had 14 defensive boards and five blocks in a win over Taylor (Ind.)
  • Led Marian to wins over Spring Arbor (Mich.) and Taylor (Ind.)
