2024-25 NAIA Women's Basketball Players of the Week - No. 6 (January 21)
Kansas City, Mo. – Ashlyn Diemert of Valley City State (N.D.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, while Makaila Brown of Tougaloo (Miss.) has been named the NAIA Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from January 13-19 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X throughout the regular season.

NAIA Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Ashlyn Diemert, Valley City State (N.D.) – SR – Guard
- Averaged 31.5 points in a pair of wins
- Scored a school record with 39 points while going 11-of-11 from beyond the arc in a win over No. 24 Jamestown (N.D.)
- Is now the only player in school history to be perfect in three-point shots
NAIA Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Makaila Brown, Tougaloo (Miss.) – JR – Forward
- Finished the week with 28 defensive rebounds for an average of 14 per game
- Had 17 defensive rebounds in a win over Dillard (La.)
- Added eight steals and four blocks in a pair of victories
- Led Tougaloo to wins over Dillard (La.) and Southern University of New Orleans (La.)
