2024-25 NAIA Women's Basketball Players of the Week - No. 5 (January 14)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Braylee McMath of Mobile (Ala.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, while Darian Herring of Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) has been named the NAIA Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from January 6 - 12 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X throughout the regular season.

NAIA Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Braylee McMath, Mobile (Ala.) – SR – Guard
- Averaged 35.0 points in a pair of wins
- Set a new program record for points scored in a game with 47 points vs Brewton-Parker (Ga.)
- Was 10-of-23 from beyond the arc during the week for a 43.5 percentage
- Aided Mobile to wins over Abraham Baldwin (Ga.) and Brewton-Parker
NAIA Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Darian Herring, Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) – SO – Forward
- Notched the first triple-double (13 reb - 10 assists - 16 pts) in school history vs Corban (Ore.)
- Had 10 defensive rebounds as part of the triple-double
- Added five steals and 12 blocks in a pair of victories
- Led Lewis-Clark State to wins over Bushnell (Ore.) and Corban
