2024 NAIA Women's Basketball Players of the Week - No. 3 (December 17)
Kansas City, Mo. – Taylor Covington of Indiana Tech has been named the NAIA Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, and Peyton Murphy of Grace (Ind.) has been named the NAIA Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from December 9-15 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X.

NAIA Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Taylor Covington, Indiana Tech – JR – Guard
- Scored a career-high 40 points in a win over Lourdes (Ohio)
- Was 15-of-24 from the field for 62.5 percent shooting
- Added five assists and three steals for the week
- Aided Indiana Tech to an 84-58 win over Lourdes (Ohio)
NAIA Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Peyton Murphy, Grace (Ind.) – SR – Forward
- Set a new school record with ten steals in a victory over Cleary (Mich.)
- Had two defensive rebounds and a pair of blocks in the win
- Scored 26 points and added five assists for the week
- Led Grace to a 79-61 victory over Cleary (Mich.)
