2024 NAIA Softball Players of the Week - No. 5 (March 26)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Avery Schneringer of Mid-America Christian (Okla.) has been named the NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week and Leah Salas of Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) has been named the NAIA Softball Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 18-24 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week
Avery Schneringer, Mid-America Christian (Okla.) - SR - RHP
- Schneringer posted a huge week for MACU as they split a pair of games against No. 4 Science & Arts (Okla.).
- She handed USAO a shutout loss after tossing a complete game.
- Allowed only five hits, one run, and walked two batters while striking out three.
NAIA Softball Player of the Week
Leah Salas, Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) - SO - INF
- Salas and company, earned the series sweep over Saint Katherine (Calif.) last week with hot bats.
- In her 11 at bats, she tallied nine hits, three doubles, four home runs, and a walk.
- Salas scored six runs, and drove 11 RBI in to bat .818 with a 2.182 slugging percentage.
