2024 NAIA Softball Players of the Week - No. 3 (March 12)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sophie Williams of Science and Arts (Okla.) has been named the NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week and Stephanie Hayes of Avila (Mo.) has been named the NAIA Softball Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 4-10 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week
Sophie Williams, Science and Arts (Okla.) - JR - RHP
- Improved to 10-1 on the season after tossing nine full innings without allowing a hit or run.
- Her 18-strikeout performance against Peru State (Neb.) ranked second in Drovers softball history.
- Last week, she averaged 17.89 strikeouts per seven innings.
NAIA Softball Player of the Week
Stephanie Hayes, Avila (Mo.) - SR - INF
- In Stephanie's first KCAC double-header of the 2024 season, she went 5-for-5 scoring four runs.
- She added three home runs and a pair of doubles over the four total games last week.
- Posted a .583 batting average and a 1.500 slugging percentage in the four contests.
