KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Islam Orynbassar of William Carey (Miss.) has been named the NAIA Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Orynbassar was selected based on his performance(s) from March 4-10 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group and independent institution nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

• Earned a pair of singles wins over ranked opponents, including the No. 2-ranked ITA player
• Helped lead the Crusaders to a 3-1 week, with the only loss to No. 1 Georgia Gwinnett
