2025 NAIA Men's Swimming and Diving National Championship Recap - Day 1

Elkhart, Ind. – The 2025 NAIA Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships got underway Wednesday night as three events were contested at the Elkhart Aquatic Center.

  • Keiser (Fla.) recorded 100 points and broke one meet record and earn a trio of national champion performances to lead the field.  The Seahawks Jake Hutchinson, Alex Menzel, Isaiah Aleksenko, and Jet Fuhrmann teamed up to break the 800 free relay meet record as they clocked a 6:28.31.
  • The quartet of Isaiah Aleksenko, Noel de Geus, Jake Hutchinson, and Hanno Boeckmann opened the meet touching the wall in a winning time of 1:41.86 to win the 200 medley relay. Juan Gonzalez collected the first individual national title as he recorded a 341.30 to win the 3-meter dive.
  • SCAD Savannah (Ga.) is in second with 64 points after a pair of top-four finishes, including runner-up honors in the 800 free relay with a time of 6:35.80. 
  • Milligan (Tenn.) utilized a runner-up finish in the 200 free relay to be in third place with 62 points.
  • Saint Ambrose (Iowa) and William Carey (Miss.) round out the top five with 61 and 60 points, respectively.

The NAIA Championship will continue Thursday, March 6, with the second day of competition. Prelims are slated to begin at 9 a.m. EST, and finals will start at 5 p.m. EST.
