2023 NAIA Men's Soccer Players of the Week - No. 4 (September 19)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Mario Fernandez of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Aaron Carr from Indiana Wesleyan has been named the NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from September 11-17 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Tuesday's on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Mario Fernandez, Cumberlands (Ky.) - FR - Forward
- Netted both goals, including the game-winning goal, against #1 Bethel (Ind.).
- First career brace for Fernandes as he scored twice in the second half.
- Helped the Patriots earn their first win over a top-ranked opponent in program history.

Aaron Carr, Indiana Wesleyan - SR - Goalkeeper
- Tallied 16 saves in two shutout wins this week
- Posted a season-high of 10 in an upset of No. 4 ranked Rio Grande (Ohio).
- Played all 180 minutes in goal for the Wildcats
