KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Gianluca Contegno of Southeastern (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Sam Spiegel of Taylor (Ind.) has been named the NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from October 30-November 5 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Tuesday's on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Gianluca Contegno, Southeastern (Fla.) - SR - Midfielder

• Tallied a hat trick in SEU's 3-0 win over Webber International (Fla.) in The Sun Conference quarterfinal.
• Scored in the seventh and 29th minutes to give the Fire a 2-0 halftime lead and added a goal in the 51st.  
• Ran his season total to 12 goals on the year.  

NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

Sam Spiegel, Taylor (Ind.) - JR - Goalkeeper

• Shut out No. 5 Grace (Ind.) in 110 minutes of game action.
• Recorded six saves as the Trojan keeper.  
• Posted his second shutout of the season.
