2025 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week - No. 7 (April 8)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. –  Breck Putzier of William Penn (Iowa) has been named the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, while Ethan Rogers of Reinhard (Ga.) was selected as the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week. Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week are selected based on performances from March 31-April 6 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X/Twitter throughout the regular season.

NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Breck Putzier, William Penn (Iowa)- SR - Attacker

  • Putzier, for the third time this season and the second time in as many weeks, earned national offensive player of the week honors with two big home stand performances.
  • Notching five goals in both games last week, he also added 12 total assists for 22 points.
  • Secured nine ground balls with three caused turnovers as he fired off 39 shots with 19 finding frame.

NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

Ethan Rogers, Reinhardt (Ga.) - JR - Goalkeeper

  • Rogers stood tall between the sicks for the Eages in a close victory over Cumberlands (Ky.) on the road.
  • Over his complete game in net, he tallied 11 saves for a 52.4 save percentage.
  • Allowed just 10 goals in the win.
