2024 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week - No. 8 (April 16)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Reid McDowell of Ottawa (Kan.) has been named the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, and Jacob Vincentini of Ottawa (Kan.) has been named the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from April 8-14 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Reid McDowell, Ottawa (Kan.) - SR - Attacker

  • McDowell had a big week up front for the Braves, helping his team to a pair of wins.
  • Earning the start in both games, he tallied 13 goals and one assist for 14 total points.
  • Sent 23-of-34 total shots on frame, he notched a 67.6 shot on goal percentage.

NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

Jacob Vincentini, Ottawa (Kan.) - SR - Midfielder

  • Vincentini had a week at the faceoff X for the Braves notching double-digit face-off wins in two games for a total of 35.
  • Securing one goal in the offensive end, he cleaned the field securing 29 ground balls.
  • Also adding six shots on the week.
