2024 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week - No. 1 (February 27)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Nolan Kelly of Michigan-Dearborn has been named the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, and Chris Rayburn of Keiser (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from February 19-25 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Nolan Kelly, Michigan-Dearborn - SR - Attacker

  • Lifted Wolverines with a record-tying performance, notching eight goals in the victory over Life (Ga.) on the road.
  • Tallied four more just a day later, bringing his weekend total to 12 with a 52.5 shooting percentage.
  • Placed 19-of-23 shots on goal for an 82.6 shot on goal percentage.

NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

Chris Rayburn, Keiser (Fla.) - SO - Faceoff

  • Doninated at the faceoff position last week, going a combined 46-for-64 at the X.
  • Grabbed 20 groundball pickups against a pair of top 5 ranked teams.
  • Set the Keiser record after winning 29 faceoffs against Indiana Tech at home.
