2025 NAIA Baseball Players of the Week - No. 4 (March 18)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sam Gladd of Taylor (Ind.) is the NAIA Baseball Player of the Week, and Carter Rost of Cumberland (Tenn.) is the NAIA Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 10-16 and chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Baseball Player of the Week

Sam Gladd, Taylor (Ind.) - JR – 1B

  • Helped Taylor to a 6-0 record on the week.
  • Went 12-for-22 (.545) with six home runs, 15 RBI, and 12 runs scored. 
  • Walked twice, posted an on-base percentage of .655.
  • Lined three doubles and recorded a slugging percentage 1.500. 

NAIA Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Carter Rost, Cumberland (Tenn.) - SR - RHP

  • Took a perfect game into the eighth inning of a 5-1 win over Lindsey Wilson (Ky.).  
  • Allowed 1 earned run on three hits and no walks.
  • Struck out 10 batters in 8 2/3 innings pitched.
