2024 Avista NAIA Baseball World Series Preview

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – [SCHEDULE | BRACKET | TICKETS] The 67th Annual Avista NAIA World Series will be played from May 24-31st at historic Harris Field on the campus of Lewis-Clark State College (Idaho). The World Series is a 10-team, double-elimination tournament and this year's field has four teams who have hoisted the Red Banner.

The seeding of the 10 teams was determined by the National Selection Committee prior to the Opening Round. This committee consists of one representative from each Area Rating Committee (ARC), a representative from the National Administrative Council, an officer of the NAIA Baseball Coaches Association, and three at-large members.

The first game of the 2024 tournament features No. 8 Kansas Wesleyan playing No. 9 Arizona Christian at 8:35 a.m. PT in what will be each programs first World Series game. Each program was the three seed in their opening round bracket and defeated the No. 1 seed and host team during their Opening Round victory.

Game two, scheduled for an 11:35 a.m. PT first pitch, will see the No. 4 Hope International (Calif.) Royals faced off against the No. 5 seeded Eagles of Reinhardt (Ga.). Each team has reached the World Series before as HIU was in the 2017 field and RU played in 2018. Both sides were top seeds in the Opening Round.

The Patriots of Cumberlands (Ky.) are the three seed and will be the home team against No. 6 Tennessee Wesleyan in Game Three, with a first pitch scheduled at 3:05 p.m. PT. UC is back at the World Series for the second straight year and are looking for their program's first win while the Bulldogs have their eyes set on a third national title.

The fourth and final game of Day One will take place at 7:05 p.m. CT after the Opening Ceremonies beginning at 6:00 p.m. CT. The nightcap features No. 7 William Carey (Miss.) and No. 10 Indiana Southeast. The Crusaders finished fourth a year ago while the Grenadiers finished fifth during their 2021 World Series run.

Top seeded Southeastern (Fla.) will play the winner of Game One (Kansas Wesleyan or Arizona Christian) on Saturday at 3:05 p.m. after two Consolation Bracket games are played in the morning.

Georgia Gwinnett, seeded second, will be the 10th and final team to hit Harris Field as they play Saturday at 6:35 p.m. against the victor of William Carey and Indiana Southeast.

Hudl TV will be the official home of NAIA Baseball World Series streaming. It will broadcast all games from Lewiston, Idaho through Game 15 on Wednesday.
