Nick Davidson joined the NAIA National Office in June 2023 and serves as the Vice President for Membership Recruitment and Retention. In this role, he leads strategic efforts to grow and sustain NAIA membership, working closely with presidents, commissioners, and athletics directors across the country.
Before joining the NAIA national office, Nick built a strong track record of leadership and success in collegiate athletics. He served as Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics and Athletics Director at Aquinas College for seven years, where he helped elevate the Saints to national prominence in multiple sports, earning multiple conference titles and top-10 Learfield Cup finishes. Prior to Aquinas, Nick held leadership roles as Athletic Director at Keiser University and Assistant Athletic Director at Davenport University, contributing to both institutions' rapid athletic growth and competitive success across several programs.
Throughout his career, Nick has been recognized for his ability to build championship cultures, drive enrollment through athletics, and foster meaningful student-athlete experiences. He is known as a collaborative leader who understands the unique challenges and opportunities of small college athletics.
Nick obtained his B.B.A in business administration, A.A in banking and finance from Northwood University in 2002, and his MBA with a focus on integrated management from the Richard DeVos Graduate School of Management in 2003.
