2023 NAIA Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week - No. 1 (September 6)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ellen-Mary Kearney of Milligan (Tenn.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Runner of the Week. Kearney was selected based on her performance(s) from August 28 - September 3 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/group nominees.

Runners of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week 

Ellen-Mary Kearney - Milligan (Tenn.) - SO

  • Kearney finished third at the Firetower Project Run, leading Milligan as she finished just shy of runners from Florida State and Mercer
  • Finished the 5K with a time of 17:48, defeating all other NCAA Division I runners
