NAIA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week - No. 7 (October 18, 2023)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Alauna Carstens, Evergreen State (Wash.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Runner of the Week. Carstens was selected based on her performance(s) from October 9-15 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/group nominees.

Runners of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

  • Finished third individually and first among NAIA runners at the George Oja Invitational
  • Broke the Evergreen State record by 47 seconds in the 6K with a time of 21:07.8
