2019 NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week — No. 5 (Oct. 2)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ariana Anderson of Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) has been named the NAIA National Runner of the Week the national office announced Wednesday. Anderson was selected based on her performances from Sept. 23 - 29 and was chosen out of a pool of conference and Association of Independent Institution winners.

  • Competed in the Mustang Invitational
  • Finished first of 305 runners in the 5k with a time of 17:09
  • Finished 40 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher
  • Set a new personal record and now holds the fastest time in school and conference history
