KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dutchess King of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Wrestler of the Week. The winner was selected based on performances from February 3-9 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Wrestlers of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

• King had a big week in the Patriots one dual against top ranked Life (Ga.).
• In her one match, she took on second ranked wrestler Katherine Hernandez and picked up a major 10-0 tech fall in the first period.
