KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Mia Palumbo of William Penn (Iowa) has been named the Yes! Athletics NAIA Women’s Wrestler of the Week. The winner was selected based on their performances from November 14-20 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Wrestlers of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

Mia Palumbo, William Penn (Iowa) - JR - 109

•  Remains undefeated this season at 8-0 after posting four wins over the weekend at the Missouri Valley Open
•  Crowned as the 109 champion at the same open, after defeating Ava Bayless a NCAA Division I wrestler from the University of Iowa.
