2024 NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week – No. 2 (March 20)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Eryn Burke of Vanguard (Calif.) has been selected NAIA Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week and Baylee Beard of Central Methodist (Mo.) has been selected as the NAIA Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 11- 17 and were selected out of a pool of nominees from across the country.
Players of the week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

Eryn Burke, Vanguard (Calif.) - JR
- Competed in the Ross and Sharon Irwin Invite
- Finished first in the 200 lowering her own school record to 24.28 seconds
- Hit "A" standard qualifying marks in all three of her events, 200, 400, and 4x400
NAIA Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Baylee Beard, Central Methodist (Mo.) - SO
- Competed in the CMU Open
- Finished 1st of 29 athletes in the shot put (12.80)
- Finished 1st of 25 athletes in the hammer throw (53.19)
- Finished 7th of 20 athletes in the javelin (30.54)
