2024 NAIA Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week – No. 3 (January 24)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Praise Idamadudu of Cumberland (Tenn.) for the second straight week has been named NAIA Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, and Kori Nagel of Dickinson State (N.D.) has been selected as the NAIA Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from January 15-21 and were selected out of a pool of nominees from across the country.

Players of the week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week

Praise Idamadudu, Cumberland (Tenn.) - JR

  • Tallied a trio of 'A' standards at the Vanderbilt Invitational against tough Division I competition.
  • Grabbed second-place finishes in the 200 and the 60.
  • Helped her 400 relay team to a fifth-place finish.

 

NAIA Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week  

Kori Nagel, Dickinson State (N.D.) - JR

  • Tossed a pair of 'A' standards at the Mike Thorson Open for a pair of first-place finishes in the weight throw and shot put.
  • Her weight throw mark of 17.28m set a new school record for the Blue Hawks by over a meter.
