Hoi Ki Lau Named NAIA Women's Golfer of the Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Hoi Ki Lau of Keiser University (Fla.) has been selected as the NAIA Women's Golfer of the Year as chosen by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association.

The sophomore from Hong Kong won the 2024 NAIA Women's Golf Individual Championship by two strokes in addition to helping lead the Seahawks to the team crown.

She is now a two-time NAIA First-Team All-American, was recognized as NAIA All-Tournament and All-Sun Conference, and was named NAIA Golfer of the Week on March 27,

She won four events on the year and finished in the top five in nine of the 10 events she played in. She has a adjusted scoring average of 71.10 and is ranked fourth in the NAIA by Clippd. 

Hoi Ki Lau is the second KU women's golfer to win the award, following Michela Tjan who did so in 2019.
