Field Cut on Day Two of NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship

SILVIS, Ill. – [Championship Schedule] The sun was out and shining at TPC Deere Run for the second 18 holes of the 2024 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship. The 29th annual event is hosted by Visit Quad Cities and saw the cut line reached with 15 teams and six individuals.

Keiser (Fla.) moved up to the top of the standings shooting a round score of 290 which was +2 for the day, up from tied for sixth. Oklahoma City shot 300 in the second round to sit tied for second with British Columbia. The Stars moved up one spot from Day One while the Thunderbirds fell down a slot. 

SCAD Savannah (Ga.) charged up from T14 a day ago to sit in fourth with a round total of 297, the second team to score sub 300. Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) shot five strokes better during their second 18 holes on the course, moving from T11 to eighth. 

Keiser's Hoi Ki Lau leaped up to the top of the leaderboard shooting 11 strokes better than yesterday. They shot the lowest score of the tournament so far at a four under 68. She, along with her teammate Jolie Wong, were the only two under par on the round.

Tomorrow’s third round will see the teams regrouped based off of the standings as the remaining individuals will start the day off with the first tee times at 9:00 a.m. CT on holes No. 10. The Top 15 teams will begin in reverse order off both No. 1 and No. 10 tees.
