NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National Player of the Week - No. 5

KANSAS CITY, MO. - Taylah Simmons of Southeastern (Fla.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Basketball Div II Player of the Week, the National office announced Tuesday. Simmons was nominated for her performances during the week of Jan 6 - 12 and were selected out of a pool of conference award winners.

    • Eclipsed the SEU single-game program record for points scored twice in three days
    • Scoring 36 points in win over Johnson & Wales
    • Then scoring 45 points in home win against Keiser
    • Shot 66% from the field led Fire to 70th-consecutive win against Sun Conference opponent
