KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rysan Leong of Menlo (Calif.) has been named the NAIA Men’s Wrestler of the Week. The winner was selected based on their performances from February 12-18 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Wrestlers of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Men’s Wrestler of the Week

Rysan Leong, Menlo (Calif.) - SR - 165

• Won the 165-Championship title at the Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament last weekend. 
• Went 4-0 including taking down three ranked opponents and two upset victories.
• Knocked off the fourth ranked wrestler in sudden victory and then a 3-0 decision over the #1 wrestler in the country at 165 pounds.
