KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Demarco Lee of Life (Ga.) has been named the NAIA Men’s Wrestler of the Week. The winner was selected based on their performances from January 1-7 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Wrestlers of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Men’s Wrestler of the Week

Demarco Lee, Life (Ga.) - JR - 197

• Went 3-0 in the NWCA National Duals including helping his team capture the championship
• Lee was instrumental in helping Life upend 11-time NAIA champion and top-seeded Grand View 24-17
• His defeat of the No. 1 ranked wrestler from GVU snapped the Vikings 162-match dual streak over NAIA opponents
